Cancer has a new side effect. Just like hair loss, pain and the distress that come with the diagnosis, and treatment, more patients now have to deal with financial toxicity. So what is financial toxicity? This is the expenses, anxiety and uncertainty when confronting large and unpredictable costs of cancer treatment. Please join us so we can talk about how financial toxicity affects your quality of life and what you can do about it.

Learn more about our Community Lunch and Learn lectures HERE. These lectures are hosted at sites across our state. In the Chapel Hill area, the NC Cancer Hospital Patient and Family Resource Center and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA serve host sites. Interested participants are invited to contact in order to be connected to a site coordinator or click below to register to attend from your location using a computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
