The Rabinowitz lab focuses on the quantitative, comprehensive understanding of cellular metabolism. From the basic science perspective, his lab develops biochemical approaches for mapping the molecular connections involved in metabolism. From the disease perspective, his lab investigates metabolic dysregulation in diseases, including cancer. Rabinowitz is a leading expert in these areas and has developed extensive collaborations with many labs around the country. He has received several prestigious awards, including most recently the NIH Pioneer Award in 2016.
