Power of Pink Kickoff
October 1, 2021
Starting on October 1, we will launch Power of Pink campaign to raise funds to support research at UNC Lineberger for metastatic breast cancer – a complex, confounding disease with no curative treatments.
UNC Lineberger has an unparalleled track record of conducting innovative research that generates actionable insights into the genetic and genomic underpinnings of breast cancer. The cancer center currently has 23 metastatic breast cancer clinical trials open, offering patients the opportunity to partner in the investigation of new and novel therapies.

Create
Start a fundraising page, customize your narrative, and add pictures. Give friends and family an idea about why you are fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, specifically why UNC Lineberger and the N.C. Cancer Hospital are important to you.
Donate
Recognize someone who is fighting breast cancer, or helped you during your struggle.
Start fundraising
Create a list of friends and family members you want to join you in your fundraising efforts. Send them an email or reach out to them on social media. While the minimum fundraising goal is $250 for individuals, we encourage participants to raise their individual goals and think about a stretch amount.
