Tar Heal Tuesday is how UNC celebrates the international day of giving, Giving Tuesday!
UNC Lineberger is doing our part to secure a healthier future for our neighbors in North Carolina and around the world. Our goal is to raise $10,000 on Tar Heal Tuesday.

You can donate directly to UNC Lineberger through our online giving form to help us reach our goal. There will be a dollar-for-dollar match of your gift, doubling the impact of your donation!

For the past seven years, nonprofits and charities all over the globe have celebrated Giving Tuesday on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in order to kick off the season of giving.
To amp up the celebration, we’re bringing Tar Heal Tuesday directly to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus! UNC Lineberger will be in The Pit (outside the Carolina Union) on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will be a DJ, photo booth, snacks, coffee, and interactive activities to connect with UNC students and staff on this exciting day.
