C.R.E.A.T.E. Patient Seminar Series on Clinical Trials: Introduction to Clinical Trials

March 2, 2023 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Cancer Research Equity and Equity Through Engagement (C.R.E.A.T.E.) initiative is hosting a free three-part seminar series for patients and caregivers about clinical trials in March. Learn the facts, dispel the myths, and hear from experts.

Introduction to Clinical Trials

Learn more about clinical trials – what they are, the role cancer research plays in advancing medical knowledge and creating more treatment options, and how you can be a part of it all. In this seminar, we’ll review common terms and phrases you may hear, the phases of clinical trials, why diversity is greatly needed in research, and where you can find available trials.

The talks will be held in person with a virtual option via Zoom. In-person attendees will be provided a free lunch. The talks are free, but registration is required.
