Join us for a 5K and community health fair to raise awareness and funds for treating oral cancer.

This event is held in honor of Scott Eidson, DDS, a professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry who is a head and neck cancer survivor. All proceeds are donated to UNC Lineberger to provide accessible and affordable treatment for head and neck cancer patients throughout North Carolina.

The community health fair highlights oral cancer awareness, and will educate the public on the importance of prevention and screening to assist in early detection of the disease. Free oral cancer screenings will be offered on-site, in addition to various services offered by diverse health profession volunteers to provide information about health and wellness as a whole.
