Complex Grant Application Support

In addition to pre-award support, the Grants Development Office has a Team Science Resource Center that can assist with the development of team science grants, such as P, T and U mechanisms.

Some ways that we offer support include:

Research Planning

  • Overall program structure – facilitating team meetings and workshops
  • Research strategy – refining Project Aims and Program Integration
  • Team building – coaching and education on best practices

Project Management

  • Timelines and checklists – defining a time-bounded roadmap and work plan
  • Meeting support – implementing proven strategies for effective meetings

Editorial

  • Scientific strategy – “first-reviewer” input on research strategy
  • Storytelling – advising on clarity, flow or impact in the writing
  • Copyediting – checking all documents for spelling, grammar and readability
  • Ancillary documents – drafting or revising, e.g. Facilities & Resources, Letters of Support, and Biosketches

We also serve as a liaison between appropriate groups to assist with pre-award, shared resources, data sharing, and more, to ensure you have the best resources for your project.
