Channing Der, PhD, a member of the University of North Carolina Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Sarah Graham Kenan Distinguished Professor of Pharmacology, will receive the “Mentor Award for Lifetime Achievement” at an awards banquet April 8.
Der is one of 24 faculty members and teaching assistants who have been named winners of Carolina’s 2019 University Teaching Awards. Der and the other recipients will be recognized during halftime of the men’s basketball game against Syracuse on Feb. 26.
