This talk will be an overview of statistical topics that may be of particular interest to clinical researchers. Some common statistical concepts, such as power and sample size, along with some common errors, will be explored. Participants are encouraged to present questions regarding their own research.
This workshop will be led by Dr. Naim Rashid, a member of the Lineberger Biostatistics Core and a faculty member in the Department of Biostatistics at the Gillings School of Global Public Health. His areas of interest include genomics, clinical trial design, and developing reproducible research methods in biomedical studies.
