ITCMS Research Study Group: Clinical Trials
How does the research you are doing get translated into new treatments? Our next ITCMS research study group on “Clinical Trials” will focus on how academic research moves from the bench to bedside. Our panel will consist of three members with experience participating in this process here at UNC. Panel members include: Dr. Autumn McRee (MD), Dr. Gaorav Gupta (MD/PhD), and Dr. Adrienne Cox (PhD). Dr. McRee is the clinical trial lead for the Gastrointestinal Oncology program. Dr. Gupta and Dr. Cox are both principle investigators in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Each of our panel members will bring a unique perspective based on their differing roles and experiences in the clinical trial process. Please join us to hear about this exciting topic and gain a better understanding of how our research can impact the lives of patients.
The panel will be held on Tuesday, April 23 from 3-5 PM in Marsico 4004.
