Research Study Group – What’s involved in starting a startup?

March 27, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us this month for a panel discussion on being a part of a biotech startup in its earliest phases. What skills transfer easily from academia and which skills must be learned? Where does funding come from before profitability? How do the goals in a startup environment compare to those in an academic lab? Our panelists include individuals critical to the success of the platform therapeutics company, Ribometrix: Katie Warner, Ph.D. (Sr. Director of Research and Co-founder, Ribometrix), Christine Hajdin, Ph.D. (Associate Director, Computational Sciences, Ribometrix), and Phil Grayeski, M.Phil. (Independent Strategy Advisor and Business Analyst).
