William Kim MD was recruited to UNC in 2006 after completing his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and post-doctoral research fellowship at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 2014, Dr. Kim was inducted into the honor society for physician-scientists, the American Society for Clinical Investigation. Dr. Kim is the Director of the Calabresi K12 Hematology/Oncology Fellowship and is the Associate Program Director for Research for the Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at UNC. Both his roles capitalize on his natural leadership and mentoring abilities for the academic career development of hematology/oncology clinical fellows. Dr. Kim is co-leader of the Clinical Research Program at LCCC and is Director of the MP1U (Mouse Phase 1 Unit).
