Megan Sterlina, PA-C, is the physician assistant with the lymphoma program at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 with a double major in biology and psychology. She then worked at UNC Hospitals first in the occupational therapy department and then in the Mohs surgery clinic before beginning school to become a physician’s assistant in 2010. She graduated with her master of medical sciences degree from Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program in 2012 and started with the hematologic malignancy program at UNC later that year. Megan is also the hematology unit coordinator for the UNC Physician Assistant Program. She is passionate about education, for both her students and patients, and hopes to empower others through knowledge and understanding.

Outside of work, Megan is a board member of the Junior League of Durham and Orange Counties and enjoys volunteering in her community. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, travel, and cheering on the Tar Heels.
