How is MaTRIC providing research management resources?

In Spring 2024, MaTRIC convened a brain trust of brilliant partners across Lineberger to advise on how we could collectively help provide best practices and guidelines around effective research management practices.

Everyone agreed: We all want it. We all need it. But until then, no one had ever offered to take on the role of organizing it.

MaTRIC is all about providing effective project management. So, we offered to manage the ultimate UNC Lineberger project: Creating a system to ensure research management resources are accurate and easily accessible.

We are keeping our eye on the ultimate goal: Boost research productivity at UNC Lineberger.

This MaTRIC Steering Committee soon agreed on its top priority: To compile and make accessible a list of things that people at UNC Lineberger need to carry out their research.

Progress to date: (as of February 2025)

The MaTRIC Steering Committee is hard at work! We are busy compiling and curating resources. Our goal is to share a first version in Fall 2025.
