How to Apply
Applicants are encouraged to read about and identify the most appropriate scientific program for their research interests. Applicants are also encouraged to discuss their research and proposed membership with the appropriate program leaders.
To apply for cancer center membership, interested individuals submit and supporting materials. Supporting materials include a research statement and NIH biosketch (with other support). The two to three paragraph research statement describes the applicant’s cancer-related research and outlines credentials. The cancer focus of the research should be clear. Cancer-relevant publications and grant funding should be identified.
Send the applications to Susie Smith.
Following submission of all requested materials, the Center’s Membership Review Committee will review the application and determine membership status and, as appropriate, program affiliation. The Membership Review Committee meets three times a year, generally in January, May and October. The Center will notify applicants regarding Committee decisions.
