Dr. Brenner is the Associate Program Director of CCSI and a Health Services Researcher at the Cecil Sheps Center for Health Services Research at the University of North Carolina. She is a mixed methods researcher with a primary research focus on patient-provider shared decision-making in preference sensitive decisions, values clarification methodology, implementation of cancer screening programs, patient decision support implementation, and intervention research. She has served as a co-investigator on multiple trials to promote informed and shared decision making in cancer screening. She is currently co-leading the development of implementation policy and decision support for lung cancer screening in an academic health care system. Learn more here.
