Shiva Das, PhD, chief of physics and professor in the UNC School of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology, was elected as a fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. His election as a fellow recognizes his distinguished contributions to medical physics.
Das was recognized in an awards ceremony and reception held July 30 during the association’s 60th Annual Meeting & Exhibition.
