Each year, tens of thousands of patients who are diagnosed with advanced cancer are also parents. The results of this survey will help researchers at UNC develop programs to support families affected by a parent’s advanced cancer.

Participants eligible to take part in the study are those who have been diagnosed with an advanced cancer and have one or more biological or adopted children under the age of 18. Participants in the study will remain anonymous.

The study is being led by UNC Lineberger and UNC Psychiatry member Eliza Park, MD.
