Redinbo Featured in Current Issue of endeavors

CHAPEL HILL, NC - Matt Redinbo, PhD, professor and chair, Department of Chemistry; professor, Department of Biochemistry & Biophysics; and UNC Lineberger member, is featured in the article "Putting the Brakes on Bacteria" published in the Spring 2010 issue of endeavors magazine.  The article discusses the research of Redinbo and Matt Wolfgang, PhD, and their discovery that bacterium need calcium to move. The article was written by Meagen Voss, a graduate student in neurobiology in the School of Medicine.

endeavors magazine is a publication of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development at UNC-Chapel Hill. The magazine focuses on the stories of faculty, staff, and students working in all fields at the university.
