Gifts by credit card
UNC Lineberger accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express. You can give by credit card in the following ways:
- Online gifts
Credit card gifts made online should be completed before midnight Dec. 31, 2014, to qualify as tax deductible contributions in 2014. To make your gift online, go to www.unclineberger.org/giving
*IRS guidelines require online credit card transactions to be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2014 (based on the time zone in which the gift is made), for those gifts to count in 2014.
- Credit card gifts by phone
Phoned-in credit card gifts must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Dec. 31, 2014. To make a gift by phone, call (919) 966-5905. Please have your credit card number, expiration date and daytime phone number ready. After 12:00 p.m., please use the online giving form at https://give.unc.edu/donate?p=LCGO
Gifts by check
If you mail a check, the envelope must be postmarked by Dec. 31, 2014, to count as a gift for the calendar year. Please make your check payable to “UNC Lineberger.” Please include a note if you would like to designate your gift in support of a specific area or are making the gift in memory or in honor of a loved one. Please mail it to: UNC Lineberger External Affairs, CB 7295, Chapel Hill, NC 27599.
Gifts by Stock or Cash Wire
Visit https://unclineberger.org/waystohelp/giving/other-ways-to-give/donating-stocks stock transfer and cash wire instructions. Please contact UNC Lineberger at (919) 966-5905 or lcccgiving@unc.edu to confirm the transfer and ensure your stock or cash wire gift is designated to UNC Lineberger.
