Twelve UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Centers members were named to Clarivate’s 2022 Highly Cited Researchers list, which recognizes scientists who published papers that ranked in the top 1% of cited publications in their field during the past decade.
In all, 6,938 researchers earned the distinction, including more than 30 UNC faculty members.
The Highly Cited Researchers™ list identifies scientists and social scientists from 21 scientific fields who have demonstrated significant influence through publication of multiple highly cited papers between 2011-2021. Approximately 179,000 cited papers were included in the analysis.
