In light of recent events and civil unrest within our nation, The Cancer Outcomes Research Program believes “it is also the CORP’s responsibility to be part of the solution and change that is needed to dismantle structural racism at our institution and in our community.” Read more about how we are committing to support our fellow colleagues of color.

We would like to highlight Angie Smith, an Associate Professor of Urology and the Director of Urologic Oncology at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. We invite you to learn more about her and the amazing work she is accomplishing with us.

We commend staff member Deb Usinger, a Research Project Manager with the Cancer Outcomes group. She is part-taking in several projects and working with Matt Nielsen and Ray Tan in “researching different approaches to support a North Carolina-based learning collaborative in urology (following the University of Michigan’s MUSIC model).” We are glad to have her in our team!
