Dr. Cella will discuss the history of patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) in clinical trials, from early advances in publicly-sponsored clinical trials and expression of regulatory interest, to more recent advances in consequential impact from clinical trials. He will then transition to discussing the increasing use of PROMs in clinical practice, highlighting the value proposition experiences of vanguard groups and the local experience at Northwestern.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch and Stephanie Wheeler. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a small breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting.
