In this session, we will explore guidance on safe and trusted AI-Human workflows in radiation oncology space. We will contend that there is a requirement for an AI-Human workflow model that delineates responsibilities clearly, wherein AI provides methods to reduce variability in care planning and delivery, while humans concentrate on comprehensive analysis, utilizing their expertise to make final decisions. As such, this viewpoint reinterprets AI-Human collaboration as a strategic and intelligent separation of responsibilities that capitalizes on the distinct capabilities of each partner.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch and Stephanie Wheeler.
