Dr. Carlos will describe emerging models of health equity that link social exposure risk to cancer outcomes through a Society to Cells to Outcomes approach.  Together, we will review developing evidence for inflammation as a potential pathway for biological effects of social exposure on inequity of cancer outcomes and explore potential effects of social risk on physiologic and epigenetic alteration through social genomics.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch and Stephanie Wheeler. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
