“Secondary Breast Cancer: A Paradigm for Survivorship Research”

This talk describes a 15-year NCI-supported research effort focused on secondary breast cancer, including estimating the magnitude of risk, identifying modifying factors, predicting absolute risk and integrating risk prediction modeling, assessing long-term outcomes, understanding the benefits and harms associated with different surveillance strategies, testing risk-reducing intervention, using imaging repositories to identify radiomic signatures of secondary breast cancer, and future directions.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
