Breakfast Seminar: Martin Murphy, CEO, Project DataSphere and CEO Roundtable on Cancer

November 7, 2017 @ 7:45 am - 9:00 am

The responsible sharing of clinical trial patient-level data is not only scientifically important, it honors the patients who volunteer as subjects. Project Data Sphere, LLC (PDS), a non-profit, independent subsidiary of the CEO Roundtable on cancer, has pursued a “truly open-access” model with 100,000 de-identified patients freely available for in depth study. Comments will be made on not only the new discoveries that are being made, but moreover the importance of the process used in building and administering PDS will be discussed, as will be the new opportunities for its development in collaboration with the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) with which PDS has recently entered into a precedent-setting collaboration.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
