Eliza (Leeza) Park, MD, MSc is a psychiatrist, clinical researcher, and director of psycho-oncology services for the UNC Comprehensive Cancer Support Program. Her research focuses on understanding and improving psychosocial outcomes for parents with advanced cancer and their families. Her goal is to develop and evaluate evidence-based interventions to help families cope with the psychological demands of illness and end of life. She collaborates with multiple other members of the Cancer Outcomes Research Program, including Donald Rosenstein and Erin Kent. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, cooking, and chasing after her children.
