Gita Mody, MD MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Director of Thoracic Surgical Oncology, specializing in care of patients needing surgery for lung cancer including minimally invasive thoracic surgery and end-stage lung disease including lung transplantation. Her research is focused on improving surgical care using patient-centered outcomes with a focus on applying patient-reported outcomes in clinical-effectiveness research and routine practice.
