Marjory Charlot, MD MPH MSc is a thoracic medical oncologist and cancer disparities/health equity investigator with a research focus on racial/ethnic disparities in cancer outcomes, developing and testing interventions to improve cancer care delivery for medically underserved populations, and examining the influence of patient and provider characteristics on cancer outcomes. She has conducted foundational methods research on building capacity for patient engaged research to address low minority patient participation in cancer clinical trials. She also collaborates with multiple other members of the Cancer Outcomes Research Program, including Ethan Basch, Sam Cykert, Hy Muss, and Kirsten Nyrop. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and children, yoga, and listening to world music.
