Ethan M. Basch, MD, is a UNC Lineberger research member and medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of prostate cancer. His research focuses on patient-reported outcomes, drug regulatory policy, and comparative effectiveness research. He has created tools with the National Cancer Institute that are widely used for collecting symptom information directly from patients.
