UNC Lineberger Staff Awards 2024-2025

The goal of our selection process is to ensure that all staff feel celebrated and seen. We will make sure that different names are recognized with each award.

With all awards, SEAC will vote and select a winner. If an SEAC member is nominated, they will sit out from the selection process.

The Wendy Brewster Act of Kindness Award

The Wendy Brewster Act of Kindness Award is an award designed to recognize individuals who have showcased acts of kindness that are centered around teamwork, participation, encouragement, mentorship, and building bridges to help others work together collectively.

UNC Lineberger Gem Award

The UNC Lineberger Gem Award is awarded to a staff member for their consistent work ethic and outstanding contributions to their unit and UNC Lineberger (Center-wide). No matter how big or small, the aim is to recognize their contributions, efforts, and the daily support they provide to colleagues.

UNC Lineberger Excellence Award

The UNC Lineberger Excellence Award is a prestigious award given to one exceptional colleague who has demonstrated leadership, innovation, customer service, and the spirit of UNC Lineberger culture.
