Sexual Health
Cancer treatments (chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and others) as well as the cancer itself can impact how your body functions.
It’s also normal for cancer and treatment to change how you feel about being intimate.
Common changes include:
- Decreased sex drive
- Difficulty with arousal, vaginal dryness, or erection
- Difficulty having an orgasm
- Pain with sex
- Changes in body image
There are things that can be done about these changes. Each person and situation is different. Reach out to your healthcare team for help.
