Please join the UNC Cancer Network and the NC Community Colleges for an online, interactive oncology lecture. Thomas C. Shea, MD will describe what these diseases are and how they manifest in most patients, the sort of general treatments required for each of these diseases, and what the needs are for patients and their caregivers while patients are undergoing treatment. He will also discuss anticipated complications and outcomes resulting from treatment for these diseases and long-term issues faced by patients treated for these diseases.
