Medical and Surgical Oncology Lecture- Meeting the Unique Needs of Pediatric Oncology Patients

Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Thomas Alexander, MD, MPH. Children with cancer, and their clinicians, face a unique spectrum of challenges. Differences in diagnosis, biology, treatment toxicity, and impact on social development require focused teams of researchers, healthcare providers, psychologist, and social workers. Novel diagnostic and treatment paradigms require intricate systems for data interpretation and therapy delivery, but come with a hope of improved survival and quality of life. Medical and Surgical Oncology lectures offer CNE, ASRT, and CME continuing education credit (upon approval) for eligible participants. We invite anyone interested to view our lectures. Lectures are viewable online via Zoom Webinar or by participating in the lecture at one of our designated viewing sites. Please contact us for more information about Zoom Webinar registration or to be connected with a site coordinator near you.
