Married, mom of 4 Kimma of 4 (soon to be 6), and fur baby mom.
Graduated from East Carolina University School of Nursing 1980.
Work experience includes Critical Care, Traveling Nurse, Patient Education, Clinical Nurse Educator and Staff Development Coordinator.
Over 30 years as a Nurse Planner and AHA instructor; Nurse Peer Reviewer for NCNA.
Member of NCNA, ANA and ANPD.
Began nursing career at UNC Memorial Hospital MICU June 1980 and retired from UNC Nash Organizational Learning July 2023.
Currently Nurse Planner for Lineberger Cancer Center as of March 2025.
