COVID-19 and Oncology Practice
Lecture Description
This lecture will provide an overview of the burden and outcomes of COVID-19 among patients living with cancer. We will also review the impact of the pandemic on cancer care delivery, and emerging data regarding vaccination safety and efficacy.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe prevalence, incidence, and outcomes of COVID-19 among select populations of cancer patients in the US
- Compare safety and efficacy of available COVID-19 vaccines
- Discuss the impact of COVID-19 on cancer care delivery with emphasis on unique challenges and opportunities in oncology
