Lecture Description
An overview of genitourinary oncology, including a discussion of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testis cancers and associated oncology-related professions, as well as a discussion of the needs specific to genitourinary oncology patients
Learning Objectives:
- Identify the different types of cancer and cancer professionals in a genitourinary oncology clinic
- Discuss different modalities of treatment for genitourinary malignancies, and the care structures and professionals needed to deliver each type of treatment
- Identify management issues specific to genitourinary oncology and how a multidisciplinary team is used to deliver optimal management of these issues.
