Daniel Kleissler

The Integration of Clinical Research in Oncology Supportive Care:A Study Coordinator’s Perspective

Bio:

Daniel Kleissler is the current Clinical Research Associate with the Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Program at NC Basnight Cancer Hospital. Daniel has a background in social policy and community health with specific interests in health equity and person-centered care. As a trained paramedic, he has dedicated time to provider education, community outreach, and the provision of pre-hospital emergency medical care. In his capacity as the AYA CRA, Daniel coordinates the research studies of the team and consults with those who have research questions specific to the AYA population. Perhaps most important about Daniel; he is the proud dad of a cat/demon, annoyingly excited about his morning coffee, and wears floral-on-floral patterns with no shame.
