FreeWelcome to CCSP/Palliative Care Grand Rounds
The Palliative Care and Comprehensive Cancer Support Programs (CCSP) co-organize weekly presentations on the care of seriously ill patients and their families, including individuals living with cancer, relevant to interdisciplinary clinicians. Individual topics address pain and symptom management, communication approaches with patients and families, strategies to facilitate coping and support, quality improvement, and research in these disciplines.

Eva Stein, MD
Cases from Kidney Palliative Care: Common Scenarios in the Care of Seriously Ill Patients with Kidney Disease
Bio: Dr. Stein is a nephrologist and current fellow in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the University of North Carolina (UNC). She completed medical school at the UNC School of Medicine and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She subsequently completed Nephrology fellowship at UNC where she continued on with fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Her clinical and research interests lie in the development of palliative care models for patients with advanced kidney disease. She enjoys rock climbing, gardening, running, and spending time with her family.
