Welcome to CCSP/Palliative Care Grand Rounds
The Palliative Care and Comprehensive Cancer Support Programs (CCSP) co-organize weekly presentations on the care of seriously ill patients and their families, including individuals living with cancer, relevant to interdisciplinary clinicians. Individual topics address pain and symptom management, communication approaches with patients and families, strategies to facilitate coping and support, quality improvement, and research in these disciplines.

Presenter Heather Frank, MD
Urine Good Hands: Integrating Urology and Palliative Care
Bio: Dr. Heather Frank is a Colorado native who earned her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently pursuing fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, caring for both adult and pediatric patients. With a deep interest in the intersections in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary care, Heather brings a unique perspective to the overlap of Urology and Palliative Care—an area she often discusses with her husband, a practicing Urologist.
