Lecture Description

Radiotherapy plays an important part in many cancer treatment plans; however, recent studies suggest that we can make better use of radiotherapy in some instances. Dr. Andrew Wang, of Wang Laboratory at UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, will help us navigate this changing landscape.

Lecture Objectives:

• Identify patients that are appropriate for radiotherapy
• Understand different types of radiotherapy
• Recognize new indications for radiotherapy in prostate cancer patients and oligometastsis

Please note that all objectives are fine for pharmacists, but only objective 2 would apply to techs.
