Panel Presentations

The term “Panel Presentation” indicates that the webinar will present evidence-based information. Meanwhile, the term “Panel Discussion” implies that the webinar will feature opinions. We will use the term “Panel Presentation” to indicate that the panel provides evidence-based information.

Script/Outline

To ensure that the panel presentation is didactic, our accrediting agencies require a detailed script or outline that the panel will follow. This way, the accrediting agencies can be assured that presenters have thought through the presentation in terms of what information will be shared.

Didactic Information

Our accrediting agencies need assurances that the presentation will contain evidence-based information presented in some form of a didactic session.

PowerPoint File

A PowerPoint file isn’t required, but it could help with the accreditation process in addition to or in lieu of a script/outline by showing the flow of the panel presentation and by including the references/citations.

References/Citations

Even though the presentation has a panel format, our accrediting agencies require citation references to buttress that the presentation will be didactic in nature.
