The gynecologic oncology tumor board is held every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00. It is attended by the gynecologic oncology attendings, nurse clinicians, fellows, and residents. In addition, representatives from radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, genetics, oncology pharmacy specialists, and clinical trial coordinators attend to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary review of the patients being presented.  Appropriate care plans are developed using NCCN guidelines were appropriate and the highest level of clinical data where guideline-directed therapy is not available. Clinical trials are reviewed for potential patient eligibility and referrals to the phase I group, medical oncology, surgical oncology, etc are discussed as appropriate.
