J.D. Wilson, his mom and dad, and his brother honor the memory of their sister and daughter, Katherine, by supporting lung cancer research at UNC Lineberger.

J.D. Wilson and his parents, Anne and John, and brother, Fletcher, wanted to honor the memory of their sister and daughter, Katherine by supporting lung cancer research at UNC Lineberger. Katherine lost a tragic five-year battle with small cell lung cancer at age 28. She overcame great obstacles and graduated from the UNC School of Nursing while undergoing therapy for her disease. Since J.D. works for GlaxoSmithKline, his contributions in his sister’s memory have been matched 1:1 by the company.
