Mac Robinson, PhD, is the Director of Clinical Development for UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Clinical Development group interfaces with multiple functional groups in UNC Lineberger and contributes to the development and activation of UNC Lineberger investigator initiated and industry sponsored clinical trials. Mac is involved in additional activities in UNC LIneberger including patient advocate groups (PART and PARC) and serves on the SOP and Compliance Committees.

Previously, Mac served as a Senior Clinical Protocol Development Associate and Clinical Protocol Development Associate for UNC Lineberger. Prior to joining UNC Lineberger, Mac served as the Senior Scientific/Medical Writer and Clinical Protocol and Grant Writer at Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. He also served on faculty at Wake Forest School of Medicine in the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy and Radiation Oncology where his research focused on cellular responses to stress.

Mac has a PhD in Molecular Genetics and his MS in Clinical and Population Translational Sciences from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He received his BS in Biology from James Madison University.
