Breakfast Seminar: Lixin Song, School of Nursing, UNC

“Improving symptom management and quality of care for patients with prostate cancer and their partners”
Dr. Song received her PhD in nursing from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Her research focuses on improving symptom management and quality of life among cancer survivors and their family caregivers. Dr. Song and her team have developed innovative mhealth programs to support cancer patients during care transition from active treatment to post-treatment self/family-care at home. Dr. Song is currently working on two ongoing projects that are funded by NCI (R21) and NINR (R01)
The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
