UNC Lineberger Community Advisory Board member
Ernest Watts is the Region 8 Tobacco Lead with the Tobacco Branch in the Robeson County Health Department. He is responsible for conducting cessation trainings and Train-the-Trainer sessions in nine counties in the southeast part of the state, from Jacksonville to Lumberton. Ernest Watts also works with colleges, K-12 school systems, long-term care facilities, housing communities and especially the Coharie, Sioux, and Lumbee tribes. He has partnered with UNC Wilmington and UNC Pembroke.
