Katie Johnson

Katie Johnson, MPH, is the Evaluation Coordinator for the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement at Lineberger. She leads the development and implementation of the comprehensive evaluation strategy for the COE Office and plays an instrumental role in the data-driven initiative, the North Carolina Cancer Health Assets and Needs Report. Her research interests include cancer prevention and rural health, but her passion lies in fostering equitable access to data, promoting health equity, and creating accessible data visualization to drive positive and inclusive changes. Katie graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at University of North Carolina with an MPH in Applied Epidemiology.
