Breakfast Seminar: Lindsay Sabik, University of Pittsburgh

April 18, 2017 @ 7:45 am - 9:00 am

Low-income women are less likely to receive recommended cancer screenings that can lead to earlier detection and subsequently reduce morbidity and mortality. We examine how state Medicaid policies (including eligibility, physician payment, and cost-sharing) impact breast and cervical cancer screening, in order to inform state and federal policy and reduce inequalities in cancer prevention and outcomes.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch and Stephanie Wheeler. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
